About
Agave stricta is a succulent, evergreen perennial characterized by rosettes of slender, spine-tipped dark green foliage that can reach lengths of up to 40 cm. It produces small, reddish blooms that emerge in dense, upright racemes, extending up to 2 meters in height.
About the genus
Agave consists of either perennial or monocarpic succulents that develop rosettes of typically stiff, thick, spiny leaves. The plants produce funnel-shaped flowers in racemes or panicles that often exceed the height of the rosettes.

- Cultivation
