About
Agave 'Blue Glow' is a slow-growing variety that develops rosettes composed of blue-green, powdery leaves. The leaves feature small, serrated edges adorned with a thin line of yellow and red. This plant may take over a decade to produce flowers, after which it will die and will not produce offsets. It typically reaches a height of 60 cm and can spread up to 90 cm.
About the genus
Agave consists of either perennial or monocarpic succulents that develop rosettes of typically stiff, thick, spiny leaves. The plants produce funnel-shaped flowers in racemes or panicles that often exceed the height of the rosettes.
