About
Agastache aurantiaca is a robust, upright perennial that typically reaches heights of 50 to 90 cm. It features fragrant, lance-shaped leaves that are mid-green on the surface and have white, hairy undersides. From midsummer through autumn, it produces loose clusters of yellowish-orange flowers, each measuring up to 3 cm in length.
About the genus
Agastache consists of herbaceous perennials featuring straightforward, fragrant foliage and small tubular flowers with two lips, arranged in whorls that create compact spikes during the summer and autumn months. While some species may be somewhat tender, they can also be cultivated as annual bedding plants.
