About
Aesculus x neglecta 'Autumn Fire' is a medium-sized deciduous tree that reaches heights of up to 20 meters. The young leaves emerge with a copper hue, transitioning to dark green during the summer months, and later transforming into vibrant shades of orange, yellow, and red as fall arrives. In mid-summer, it produces upright clusters of creamy-white flowers that feature reddish bases, which are succeeded by smooth, round fruits.
About the genus
Aesculus consists of deciduous trees or sizable shrubs featuring prominent flowers and leaves that are lobed in a palmate arrangement. In some cases, they also exhibit appealing colors in the fall.
