About

Aeschynanthus pulcher is a perennial climbing plant that can reach up to 75 cm in height. This epiphytic species features stems that develop aerial roots and support glossy, oval leaves measuring about 4.5 cm in length. From summer through winter, it produces clusters of 6 to 8 tubular, hooded flowers that are bright red with yellow interiors, each measuring around 6 cm long.

Care notes

Cultivation
Grow as a house or conservatory plant indoors in a peat-free houseplant compost. Position the container in bright, filtered light for best growth and flowering.
