Aeschynanthus longicaulis is a soft, evergreen perennial that can grow up to 60 cm tall, featuring semi-trailing stems that extend to 90 cm. The plant showcases dark green, lance-shaped leaves that are marbled with white on the upper side and display a paler green with red-purple mottling underneath. Its tubular flowers, measuring around 5 cm in length, have greenish-yellow tubes with yellow and crimson lobes and throat. These blooms emerge from the leaf axils and appear from summer through winter.

Care notes

Cultivation
Grow as a house or conservatory plant indoors in a peat-free houseplant compost. Position the container in bright, filtered light for best growth and flowering.
