About

Aeonium 'Torchbearer' is a succulent that forms dense mounds with clusters of thick leaves. Initially green, the foliage matures to a rich deep red-purple hue. This plant produces new rosettes at its base, creating a mat-like appearance or cascading over the edges of containers. After some time, each rosette may produce a cluster of yellow-green flowers, leading to the eventual decline of that particular rosette.

About the genus

Aeonium consists of evergreen succulents that typically grow in a shrubby form. They feature thick leaves arranged in rosettes at the tips of their branches. During blooming, these plants produce clusters of small, star-like flowers characterized by their slender petals.
