About
Aeonium 'Pomegranate' is a succulent sub-shrub that grows into a compact mound of tightly arranged leaf rosettes, reaching heights of up to 50 cm. The leaves exhibit a gradient, starting with a green center that transitions to a rich red at the edges of the rosettes. In late spring, it may produce rounded clusters of small yellow flowers with a star-like shape. This plant thrives on patios but should be brought indoors or placed in a greenhouse where winter temperatures are not consistently mild.

Care notes
- Cultivation
- Grow in pots of peat-free, loam-based compost with added extra grit. Position in a sunny spot for the best leaf colouration; aeonium will tolerate some shade but the leaves become green. Water moderately when in growth, not at all when dormant. Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser 2 or 3 times during the growing season. In winter move plants to a frost-free greenhouse or conservatory.
