About

Aeonium arboreum 'Tip Top' is an evergreen sub-shrub that forms a dense mound of tightly arranged leaf rosettes. The leaves feature a green center that transitions to a deep burgundy, nearing black at the outer edges. In summer, it may produce rounded clusters of small, star-shaped yellow flowers. This plant is well-suited for container gardening on patios, but in most climates, it will need protection during winter months.

About the genus
