Achillea clypeolata Sm. is a compact perennial that reaches heights of up to 50 cm. It features deeply dissected, greyish-green leaves that are densely covered with fine hairs. From late spring through summer, it produces flat-topped flower clusters measuring up to 7 cm in diameter, consisting of numerous small golden-yellow blooms on erect stems.
