About

Abies vejarii is a coniferous evergreen that can reach heights of 10 to 20 meters, characterized by its conical crown. The young shoots display an olive-green hue and grow in an upward, forward direction. The glossy needles, measuring up to 2.5 cm in length, exhibit a grey-green or glaucous coloration, featuring two distinct grey bands on their underside. The cylindrical seed cones are between 6 and 15 cm long, initially violet in color before maturing to a brown shade, with conspicuous bracts extending from the cones.
