'Abies procera 'Aurea' is a golden variant of the Noble Fir, characterized by its pyramidal shape and attractive golden-green needles. The foliage features up-curved needles that can reach lengths of up to 3.5 cm, with the brightest gold appearing on the sunlit sections, while the inner needles show a greener hue. This cultivar exhibits a slower growth rate than the typical species, achieving a height of around 1 meter after a decade, eventually developing into a substantial tree. It typically grows 10 to 15 cm annually.
