About
Abies pinsapo is a tall, evergreen fir that can grow up to 20 meters. Its needles are stiff, sharp-tipped, and grey-green, measuring between 8 to 15 mm in length and 2 to 3 mm in width, arranged in a radial pattern along the branches. The tree produces conical cones that are 10 to 15 cm long and 4 to 5 cm wide, initially greenish-purple in late spring before turning dark or light brown as they mature.
