About
This compact, evergreen conifer is a low-growing dwarf variety that develops a cushion-like form. After a decade, it typically reaches a height of 30 cm and a width of around 40 cm. Its foliage consists of short, dark green needles and it originates from a witches' broom mutation.
About the genus
Abies are evergreen coniferous trees that can reach significant heights. They feature whorled branches that support narrow, flattened leaves, typically having a whitish underside. The upper branches produce substantial cones that disintegrate while still attached to the tree.
