About

Abelia 'Raspberry Profusion' PBR is a compact evergreen shrub reaching heights of up to 1.2 meters. It creates a tidy mound of dark green leaves that take on shades of purple and bronze during the winter months. From late spring until autumn, it produces clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers in a soft raspberry-pink hue, borne on red stems.

About the genus

Abelia encompasses a range of deciduous and evergreen shrubs as well as small trees. The leaves can be arranged in pairs or whorls, while the flowers, which are typically funnel or trumpet-shaped, appear in clusters at the axils or tips of branches during the summer and fall. These blooms are occasionally accompanied by noticeable, vibrant calyces.
