Care notes

Cultivation
Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in a sunny location. Protect from hard frosts
Pruning
Thin in early to mid-spring and remove dead or damaged branches all year round. Shrubs will tolerate tougher rejuvination in spring, but will not flower that year. See pruning group 10
Propagation
Propagate by sowing seeds in spring to early summer or by stem cuttings late spring to early summer
